Post-Race

What a great run we had this year. Thank you to those who participated. Our numbers were up and our donation dollars were up significantly. We couldn't have asked for a better 5th year anniversary. Thank you to our sponsors (businesses & local churches) for making this year our best year. Thank you to our volunteers and volunteer director for covering all the details. And thanks to our host The Village for seeing this as an important event in Durham.

Race Day Info

We will have a staggered start:

10k's & Walker's   -   8am
5k runners            -   8:10am

Please sign in by handing in the bottom portion of your Bib.

Prizes will be drawn while run is occurring and they will be announced & available at registration table after 9am.

We'll have some healthy snacks to follow your run so please enjoy a fruit or granola bar when you're done.

Start is at the RR arch on the waterfront trail.
A large clock is provided for you to check your time. 5k runners, note that you'll have to subtract 10min from your time as you'll be starting when the clock turns the 10 min mark.

Only a few days left....

We are quickly approaching RACE DAY...

Online registration is up and running until race day, and of course race day registrations are accepted as well.

Note that we have two other places that you can register in person (cash or check), these are our pick up dates/locations. Thursday from 7-8pm at the Pickering Running Room & Friday from 6:30-7:30pm at the Oshawa Running Room.

Race day registration will be open no later than 7:30am. So if you're a last minute person make sure to arrive early to register before the race begins at 8am.

We will have lots of draw prizes following your run/walk. Make sure to fill out your bib and check the table before leaving in case you've won. Prizes include: Starbucks gift baskets, ipod shuffles, Baldwin Burger give-a-way, Running Room Cards, and more!

By registering early you'll get the lower price and assure a t-shirt in your size.

5th annual running4home set - May 31, 8am

Mark the date on your calendars folks...running4home is happening for a 5th year.

Being our 5th anniversary, we have some lofty goals. We want to reach the 300 mark in runners/walkers. So spread the news and lets this years race an even bigger success.
