The city of Ajax asked if we'd change the date of our Run. Thankfully it was early enough in out promotion that we were able to comply.

Please note that the new date is JUNE 9.

This will be reflected on the registration site and all other promo.

That's the date and time for Running4Home 2012. We are holding it at Rotary Park, Ajax once again. You'll be able to run/walk along Ajax's beautiful Waterfront. Stay tuned for registration info and other news.

So far we've already got some great sponsors on board. Can't reveal them yet, but they have a heart for charity and making our region a better place to live. Our 2012 edition of this race is gonna blow our first 2 years out of the water.

Mark the date on your calendar & plan to register as soon as the info is up.

Today I met with Kathy, an executive with Habitat Durham. We discussed Running4Home 2012.

Can't wait to see how we can expand and grow this race so that more people participate & more funds are raised.

WOW... a recap from Saturday

Running 4 Home was definitely a success. We reached our goal of 50 runners, and also exceeded our fund raising goal.

Running for home was able to raise almost $2000 for Habitat Durham. That's an amazing number for 50 runners.


We'd like to thank Premier Restorations (ajax) for being our corporate sponsor, Good Life Fitness in Ajax for the prize pack, Habitat for setting up their booth, Janet and her team of awesome volunteers and of course Christian Life Centre & King Street Church for being co-hosts of this year's event.

We really hope to continue this great tradition and build on our first 2 years/races.

Here's some info for you to keep in mind.

Registration and sign-in starts at 7:30am. Race starts at 8am SHARP!

If you're registering on Race Day, please bring $30 CASH or make a check to 'Christian Life Centre'.

The starting/ending point is ROTARY PARK, AJAX.
- Entrance off of Lakedrive
- Park by the Pavilion and make your way to the registration tent

July 9 is RACE DAY

We're officially announcing that Running 4 Home is on this year.

Race day is Saturday, July 9 @ 8am.

We'll be at the beautiful Ajax Waterfront once again.

We hope to raise lots of awareness & funds for Habitat Durham. A wonderful organization that helps families obtain affordable housing in the Durham area. Of course their reputation around the world is top notch and we're so glad to partner with them for this race.

Two of the main initial partners are Christian Life Centre in Ajax & Kingstreet Church in Oshawa. We'll be announcing other sponsors soon.
